Heroes star Hayden Panettiere was honored Saturday night to receive the Gretchen Wyler Award, for protesting the annual dolphin slaughter in Southwestern Japan last year from the Humane Society. The activism award is given annually at the Genesis Awards to a celebrity who brings attention to animal causes. Beverly Kaskey, Senior Director of the Humane Society’s Hollywood Office said Hayden Panettiere is “an inspiring example to her generation, using her compassion, courage and celebrity to help animals in a very effective way.”

Cameron Diaz got the Wannabe Award at Kids Choice Awards
Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz was among the lucky winners who took home a trophy from this year Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. During the ceremony which was held at the Pauley Pavilion, Ashton Kutcher presented Cameron Diaz the Wannabe Award for being the best role model. Last time when Cameron Diaz picked up a Kids Choice award was in 2001 for her burping skills.

Rihanna at the Kids Choice Awards
The Celebrity singer Rihanna was at the Pauley Pavilion Saturday night’s attending at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Rihanna - who is currently taking care of her charity performances - walked alone at the orange carpet, though the singer was spotted getting cozy with in the last weeks with, what it looked like to be, boyfriend Chris Brown.
Chris Brown got the favorite male singer award and stayed as far as possible from the Rihanna and even went as far as telling reporters, “We’re not in a relationship or anything,” before making his way inside for the Kids’ Choice Awards ceremony.

Amidst rampant speculation, British cosmetics company Rimmel, has denied rumors about plans to drop Kate Moss from the face of the brand and replace her with British TV Presenter Alexa Chung.
“Kate remains the face of Rimmel London and will continue to appear in campaigns for the foreseeable future,” said Rimmel spokeswoman Emmanuelle Bonte. “Rimmel London has no plans to replace Kate. We are very happy with the collaboration.”
