Ashley Olsen… SMILING!

Looking genuinely happy, Ashley Olsen flashes a rare smile before hopping into her Mercedes SUV in Los Angeles on Thursday.

After noticing paparazzi, Ash quickly covered her face and bolted for her car.

FYI: Ashley and twin sister Mary-Kate started their second fashion line called Elizabeth & James, named after their siblings. Their first high-fashion couture line was called The Row.

The Elizabeth and James Spring/Summer 2008 collection can be found at Ron Herman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Holt Renfrew (Canada) outlets.

Jerry Seinfeld Rollover Car Accident

According to recent reports, Jerry Seinfeld somehow walked away unharmed after being involved in a rollover car wreck on Saturday in East Hampton, New York. The 53-year-old star “was driving alone when the brakes on his 1967 Fiat BTM stopped working. As his vehicle headed into traffic on the highway, he pulled the emergency brake, but it didn’t work,” then he “cut the wheel to the right and the two-door sedan flipped over and came to a stop yards from the highway. The car rolled onto the passenger side, then the roof and finally topped on the driver’s side” reports New York Post. The way I see it Jerry Seinfeld’s maneuver probably avoided a very serious accident, and fortunately he returned to his home in the east Hamptons without needing any medical attention.

Meester & Momsen: You Know You Love Us

Gossip Girls Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen look fashionably chic as in between shooting scenes in NYC on Friday for their catty prep school drama.

And if you missed this, Leighton shared a little April Fool’s day prank with OK!: “One time I pranked my mom and told her that I was married. That was really, really mean. But then she got me back and told me something terrible that I forget, but I really believed it. I fell really hard for that one. So she got me back. It was so mean.”

New “Quantum of Solace” Movie Stills

USA Today has released a few new movie stills for the new James Bond film. The star of the film, Daniel Craig, shared a bit about his character in Quantum of Solace:

“He has his heart broken,” says Craig. “The love of his life is killed, and he finds out she’s not who she said she was. … He’s out for revenge. But he’s also out to find — and this is what the title is about — a ‘quantum of solace.’ Something has been taken away from him, and he’s out to get that back.”

Added Craig, “It’s a simplistic story that has been around for a long, long time: There’s one lone hero going after the bad guys. It has been around forever. But you have to apply morals to it, and within that you show somebody’s flaws. That’s what makes them interesting, the mistakes they make along the way and how they adjust.

“The fact is he’s hurt. He’s damaged and he wants revenge. And that’s another facet of somebody, and it’s not a good emotion to have. You’ve got to see how he deals with it. Last time around, it was just duty and duty alone. This time around, there’s a sense of revenge. That’s how he’s going to screw up. Because he will — but then he gets up and gets it right.”

Quantum of Solace has a tentative release date of Nov. 7 and is being directed by Marc Forster (The Kite Runner, Finding Neverland).
