Jennifer Lopez Names Twins Max and Emme

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony name their newborn twins Max and Emme. J.Lo’s manager Simon Fields officially confirmed the news to People.

On Feb. 22, the new parents welcomed their daughter first followed by their son.

This news was first reported by Star back in January when J.Lo’s mother, Guadelupe, had bought ID bracelets for the as-yet-unborn tots, bearing the names Max and Emme from a jeweler in Yorktown Heights, NY.

It’s rumored that the twins’ full first names are Maximiano and Emelina.

Republican bullhorn Rush Limbaugh praised Angelina Jolie yesterday on his radio show, saying she makes more sense than the Democrats when it comes down to the issue of Iraq.

Here’s what Rush, 57, had to say about Angie:

“Everybody today is raving about a piece in the Washington Post by Angelina Jolie in which she just got back from Iraq. She says, ‘We have finally reached a point where humanitarian assistance, from us and others, can have an impact.’ Her point is to stay, help the Iraqis, especially those who are out of the country, want to come back home, the time is right now, and that the surge is working. Now, if you read the piece by Angelina Jolie today in the Washington Post, you will conclude that she is deeper and in ways more specific than Obama about this if you read the whole article. She makes more sense than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or anybody on the Democrat side about this. It’s stunning. I’ve had some people, ‘Rush, you realize, she didn’t write it.’ I don’t know that she didn’t write it. I’m not going to assume she didn’t write it… That’s another thing, that’s a good point, too, it’s pretty brave of her to do this, given Hollywood and so forth. But she’s big enough to withstand it, and it sort of makes me appreciate this Brad Pitt guy a little more. He’s gone after substance here, is all I’m saying. This really is a good piece.”

Jessica Simpson Will Perform Concert For Troops

Jessica Simpson carries her wallet, messenger bag, and dog carrier (all Louis Vuitton) through JFK airport in New York City on Wednesday after a flight from LAX in Los Angeles.

It was recently announced that Jessica will perform on March 10 for U.S troops in Kuwait, which will broadcast live at 2PM EST on myspace.com/operationmyspace.

“It’s truly an honor to perform for the troops,” Jessica said in a statement. “Through Operation MySpace, I get to serve my country by doing what I love to do in front of thousands of brave men in uniform. It’s every girl’s dream!”

The concert will air April 12 on FX.

The Spice Girls wrapped up the final show of their world tour. Here’s their farewell message from their official blog:

Kate Walsh Sends Her Apologies

Kate Walsh promotes her medical drama, Private Practice, after arriving at the Quay Grand Hotel in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday. She’s also reportedly promoting her new movie One Way to Valhalla.

It was recently announced that Kate won’t be performing in “Good Medicine,” a musical benefit at UCLA’s Royce Hall on Friday to benefit crew members who were affected by the strike. Other cast members from Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice will be there to perform, though! Here’s Kate’s personal (and funny) apology:

“I’m sorry. I’m really sorry and I am sorry I have to be so sorry but still, I do, because I am writing to let you know that despite my initial commitments, I won’t be able to participate in ‘Good Medicine.’ I wanted to come, I really, really did — but I can’t. I have a prior commitment that I tried to get out of and couldn’t. I am so sorry. And so so so bummed. I am so bummed not only that we can’t be there for you and our crew, but because I hate to miss what promises to be an unbelievably great evening. Audra McDonald, Sara Ramirez and Loretta Devine (known to you as the chief’s wife, Adele. She played Effie in the very first Broadway Production of Dreamgirls) are singing! Not to mention T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, Amy Brenneman and Paul Adelstein, Tim Daly and Chris Lowell… they’re all going to sing! And so are Chief Webber and his real-life wife Gina, also a Broadway veteran.
