Kate Bosworth (in Lisa Ho) has her wedding day as a bridesmaid at her friend Jacqui Louez’s wedding on Saturday in Sydney, Australia. (Jacqui wore a cream beaded gown by Peter Trends.) The wedding ceremony was a held at The Spit, Mosman followed by a photo session on Balmoral Beach and a reception at Orso restaurant. Kate was accompanied by her model boyfriend James Rousseau. When are you going to pop the question, James? Kate, 25, met Jacqui in 2005 when Kate was filming Superman Returns in Sydney. Jacqui was her personal assistant and is marrying record producer Louis Schoorl. Congrats to the happy couple!

Alessandra Ambrosio is Pregnant — IT’S OFFICIAL!
Speculation of the 26-year-old’s pregnancy began over a month ago. Here’s what Alessandra had to say: “Hi everyone! First of all, i would like to wish a happy new year to everybody and say that i have been really busy working a lot. Also, I would like to announce some really great news! My boyfriend Jamie and I were surprised in the beginning of the year with some delightful news that we are expecting our first child together! This is a dream come true and a really special moment in our lives! I’m very happy to say that our baby looks healthy and that we are really excited to be mom and dad and raising a child together. I hope this year for you all has started full of amazing surprises like it has been with me. For the time being, I ready to start to enjoy and dedicate myself to this new chapter in my life and I hope to be working soon enriched by our love for our new baby.”

Rachel McAdams Gets Used to Married Life
Rachel McAdams goes glam with a slicked back ‘do and bun at the premiere of her latest movie Married Life at NYC’s Tribeca Cinemas on Wednesday.
Director Ira Sachs has said of Married Life: “It’s the story of a middle-aged man who is married, and who falls in love with another woman, but he’s such a gentle figure, so he decides that to divorce his wife would humiliate her too much, so it’s better to kill her.”
Married Life opens in limited release this Friday, March 7.
Abbey Dawn: Avril Lavigne’s New Clothing Line
Rocker chick Avril Lavigne is teaming up with retailer Kohl’s to launch her own clothing line in July, reports USA Today
The juniors’ collection, named Abbey Dawn after Avril’s childhood nickname, will be “a lot of hot pinks and blacks and stars and purple and zebra. Basically, everything I wear. I have a very particular style. I want it to be available to a lot of girls, and I want it to be affordable. I walked through (a Los Angeles) Kohl’s the other day and said, ‘Oh, when my line is here it’s totally going to stand out.”
Proving she’s more than just a performer, Avril added, “I actually am the designer. What’s really important to me is that everything fits well and is well-made, so I try everything on and approve it all. I’m making sure that I think people in their 20s are going to wear it because it’s going to be a sexy fit, not just, ‘Oh, T-shirts and hoodies.’ The hoodies are slimming. It’s not a thick, bulky material.”
Pieces from Abbey Dawn will range from $24 to $48.
And fashion isn’t the only new venture Avril, 23, is pursuing. Says Lavigne, “I want to — it’s just going to sound crazy, but I’m going to make it happen — I want a film career,”

“Greetings from Dan Undah! Once again, I have to say this country blows me away in EVERY way. We just got to Adelaide after spending three full days in Perth. Amazing. We played two shows with Ben Lee opening for him before he took the stage in front of a 65-piece orchestra. Words can’t explain how brilliant he is and how genius the arrangements were of his songs. He had the crowds in the palm of his hands.
“It was a bit awkward to step on stage here for the first time here in years - especially with my own music and (and no dancers that I’m sure a bulk of the audience might have been expecting!) We are touring barebones-style with just Loren on piano and Chaves on guitar. It’s actually really great sometimes to not have the pressure of the full band but I can’t wait to get back down here with the set-up we toured with in the States.
“For the next week, we’ll be doing a short intimate set opening for Kelly Clarkson down here and then off to Manila to play one show there on the 12th.
“Happy to come home after this trip and really dig into some film projects I’ve had my eyes on now that everything is back up in motion. I am so ready to get back to work in terms of writing my next record, recording some demos and hopefully locking in a compelling and challenging film project.”
Angelina Jolie Hearts New York
Mom-to-be Angelina Jolie leaves an office building in New York City on Tuesday with sunglasses and a smile!
Ang’s newest film - Wanted, an adaptation of the Mark Millar novel, will be shooting this month in New York according to the New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting.
Wanted’s cast includes:Angie, James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, and Common. The film is about an apathetic 25-year-old (McAvoy) who discovers that his murdered father was a member of the Fraternity, a society of assassins with special powers. A woman named Fox (played by Ang) lures him in to the Fraternity, which trains him how to use his formerly dormant powers to avenge his father’s death. Fierce!
Wanted is scheduled for a June 28, 2008 release.
Paris Hilton: My Name Is Earl!
Paris Hilton is set to appear as herself on an upcoming episode of NBC’s My Name is Earl.
The 27-year-old hotel heiress will appear in a dream sequence taking place in Earl’s fevered unconscious mind.
“When we wrote the role of Paris Hilton in the script, we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role,” said Greg Garcia, the show’s executive producer. “But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton. I can’t wait to see what she does with the role and I can’t wait for America to discover her.”
Paris‘ guest appearance on My Name is Earl will air in the April 3rd episode.
Jessica Alba Loves Her Ham & Cheese
Jessica Alba attends the premiere of her latest thriller, The Eye, at the Gaumant Marignan cinema in Paris, France on Tuesday.
Prior to the premiere, Jessica blogged this little tidbit about herself: “I am currently getting my makeup done to go to the premiere of my movie. Can’t wait to get home and rest. Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I cant get enough of them. Wish they had these back in the states, the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy. IT’S THE BEST.”
The Fantastic actress also talked about her time at Paris Fashion Week and a recent concert she went to: Went to the Lanvin show and the Rodin museum in Paris…amazing. Also saw Amy Winehouse perform. She has such an incredible voice. She’s definitely a throwback…reminiscent of Ella [Fitzgerald].”

Can You Smell The Rock’s Game Plan?
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his 9-year-old costar Madison Pettis arrive at the UK Charity premiere of their new movie The Game Plan at the Odeon West End, Leicester Square on Sunday in London, England.
The screening benefited the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Natalie Portman’s City Stroll
Natalie Portman braves the chilly New York City temperatures on Saturday, strolling around Greenwich Village with a new mystery male.
Earlier this week, Nat made a guest appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman (watch here) and Late Night with Conan O’Brien (watch here).
According to box office estimates, her latest period drama, The Other Boleyn Girl, opened in third place this past Friday, pulling in $2.8 million.
Semi-Pro (Will Ferrell) opened in the top spot with $5.5 million, followed by Vantage Point (Matthew Fox, Dennis Quaid) with $3.7 million.
Lauren Conrad is a Crate & Barrel Babe
The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and BFF roommates Audrina Patridge and Lauren Bosworth shop at The Grove in Hollywood on Friday.
“Last weekend Lo, Audrina and I moved into our new house,” Lauren excitedly said. “We love it!”
The trio picked up household items for their new mini-mansion at Crate & Barrel and grabbed lunch at Mexican fast-food joint Baja Fresh.
Lauren, 22, also was seen holding her new pet pooch, Chloe.
“On Monday, I got a puppy from the pound,” Lauren shared. “She is the cutest puppy ever! Her name is Chloe. She is a lab/shepherd mix. I’m not getting much sleep because she thinks night time is play time. Ashes (my cat) is not thrilled with her, but I think they will become friends.”
Lauren and Audrina’s handbags are Chanel.
