It seems that various source have confirmed the engagement and other sources the wedding between the Grammy Award-winning songbird Mariah Carey and actor/rapper Nick Cannon. I, for one, believe it’s just a major publicity stunt! Mariah has some romance experiences and she wouldn’t jump into marriage after one month of dating. Jewelers have confirmed that they designed the $2.5 million engagement ring actor/rapper Nick which represents a special gift to his lady love Mariah Carey. Nick opted for the 10-carat platinum and pink diamond engagement ring which features fifty-eight pink diamonds and two half-moon diamonds on each side.

CSI’s Marg Helgenberger is the latest celebrity to join the national Milk Mustache campaign.

The current campaign salutes moms nationwide for playing the important role of nutritional gatekeeper - or “Chief Health Officer” - to their families and making sure they drink milk every day.

Helgenberger’s mustached photo will feature in a new print ad as well as in grocery story dairy cases nationwide saluting mom as Chief Health Officer.

Her ad copy reads, “Sitting pretty. Searching high and low for how to look great? In my role on TV and as a mom, I never miss a thing. On her favorite movie scene: “The scene I just shot for Fast And Furious 4, haven’t had action like that in a while. I can’t really detail anything but man, that was fun. Avatar was really fun to shoot [but I] can’t talk about that either. I guess [other] scenes you probably saw or can see, would be a flick I did like eight years ago, called three a.m., my second film ever. I was a taxi driver with late night shift and I was eating Chinese food from this dump in New York, I open my rice box and a massive roach was in the box. I thought that was classic.”

On learning from her DUI and jail time: “I woke up one day stopped b—-ing about why things happen, stopped blaming, and pointing. I just came to a realization that I created my own environment, whether it was a hole I dug for myself, or a realm full of possibilities. I woke up one day to own my life, with all its quirks and perks. I guess, I ride my life better than I ride a board or a horse, cause so far I haven’t really fallen off. If there’s anything I’m good at its untangling knots. I just take my time is all.

New York Post Cover: MILEY’S SHAME

Miley Cyrus has become the center of a media storm for a semi-topless photograph, taken by Annie Liebovitz for Vanity Fair’s June issue.

As you can see, the 15-year-old media darling made front page news of the New York Post with the headline exclaiming, Miley’s Shame.

The near-nude pic shows Miley clutching a satin sheet to her chest with her back bare exposed. In her interview with the mag, Miley said the picture is “really artsy,” but not “in a skanky way.”

She has since apologized to the public for the photos.

“Somebody needs to pull in the reins of this talented little gal before her career stampedes off into the sunset,” says the LA Times.

The 27-year-old up and coming starlet from Friday Night Lights will be returning for the series’ third season on DirecTV next fall. Minka also had a small role in the Jamie Foxx/ Jennifer Garner war thriller The Kingdom.
