New promos of Jessica Simpson lying down on a bed of silk satin sheets have surfaced, presumably for her new Fancy perfume.

This is all part of the 28-year-old aspiring country singer’s fragrance development deal with Parlux, the same company who works with heiress Paris Hilton for her fragrances.

Jess has said, “With Fancy, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans. For me Fancy is just that–fancy. This is a special fragrance–personal, whimsical, playful and romantic with a heart of gardenia, an essence I truly cherish.”

The official launch for Fancy is next month, August 15.

Jessica Simpson, the older sister of the recently engaged Ashlee Simpson, has been effusive in her love and support for her sister.

“My sister is overflowing with joy,” Jessica told People. “Pete is an incredible soul. They naturally bring out the best in each other. I couldn’t be happier.”

“[Pete] did ask me,” says Joe Simpson, Ashlee’s dad. “I told him that I would be honored to have him as part of my family.”

Ashlee Simpson, 23 and Pete Wentz, 28, confirmed they are planning to walk down the aisle.

Jessica Simpson hospitalized for kidney infection

The pop singer and wanna-be-actress Jessica Simpson was hospitalized over the weekend for a kidney infection, which was the cause for the Jessica’s high temperature. The 27-year-old star’s rep has confirmed that the star checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday, where she remained over the weekend for close observation and was later released. Meanwhile a friend of the Jessica Simpson’s family tells: “She is so happy she is out and feeling great.”

Jessica Jets Off With Tony Yet Again

Jessica Simpson and football beau Tony Romo draw loads of attention from paparazzi and fellow travelers alike, as they prepare to depart from LAX airport in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Later this week, Jessica will fly off to Kuwait to perform for U.S troops, which will broadcast live on Myspace.

“I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops for Operation MySpace,” Simpson has said. “Then back in the studio!”

Jessica Simpson Will Perform Concert For Troops

Jessica Simpson carries her wallet, messenger bag, and dog carrier (all Louis Vuitton) through JFK airport in New York City on Wednesday after a flight from LAX in Los Angeles.

It was recently announced that Jessica will perform on March 10 for U.S troops in Kuwait, which will broadcast live at 2PM EST on myspace.com/operationmyspace.

“It’s truly an honor to perform for the troops,” Jessica said in a statement. “Through Operation MySpace, I get to serve my country by doing what I love to do in front of thousands of brave men in uniform. It’s every girl’s dream!”

The concert will air April 12 on FX.

On August 17, 2007 Jessica announced that she had broken her nose while on the set of her new film Major Movie Star. She was running with a gun over her head and tripped and fell.
