Christina Ricci @ Penelope Premiere

Christina Ricci shows off the right amount of curves at the premiere of Summit Entertainment’s Penelope held at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Ricci, who turned 28 earlier this month, plays the title character in the film, which is out Feb. 29.

The Hollywood Reporter says of the movie: “Charming, low-key fable with sly modern twist.”

Variety disagrees: “The whimsical ugly-duckling fable becomes more uneven as it proceeds, straining too hard to manufacture its quirky charms.”
